F'ing carpet people... I'm fed up with this!

We're getting new carpet installed in the house, originally scheduled for yesterday, so we planned EVERYTHING around this, had to move everything out of the house into the garage, had to have people (My sister and my fiancee) stay at the house while they did it (it was a 1 day job). So the douchebag shows up yesterday while I'm at work as scheduled, my sister lets him in... He does a little bit of work (removes the downstairs carpet) and then says "It's going to rain, I'm going home... I can't cut the carpet when it's raining"... My sister and fiancee plea for him to stay, beg him to finish the job, but he just makes a bunch of excuses about how it's going to rain... So he says he'll do it tomorrow! (today) Guess what? It didn't rain a friggin DROP the entire day!!!!

I find out after the fact and flip out because we spent so much time preparing and moving our schedules to accommodate him and his team of carpet workers!

They said they'd be here by 7:00am, which is bogus because saturdays are my days to sleep in, now I'm sitting here waiting for these idiots to come... Since they are late, I decided to open up my safe and empty it and arrange my guns all over the living room so that I can inventory all the serial numbers and such, but the real reason is to instill fear onto these bastards! I can't wait until they get here and see the living room stacked with "evil black rifles" from end to end!!!

Sorry, that is my rant... F' you carpet people!!!!

Cliff: Carpet guys screwed me, now I make them work in fear!!!

sorry man, that sort of **** happens a lot with plummers, carpet people, anything remodel wise with houses. You should have a hidden camera in your living room for when they show up and see your gun collection. I bet they will walk in and go....

we have an appliance repair person thats always iddy to come back to the house. The first time he was supposed to come he called before he got here but I was taking a crap and didn't hear the phone, and then he never showed up. He later said it was because he called and no one answered so he didn't want to come all the way out here if no one was home (that was never part of the scheduling either, that he'd call before hand). Then he came and put in the dishwasher and left, but he didn't clean out and of the pipes or something before he put it in so somehow all the water pipes in the kitchen got backed up). He came out to fix it but commented that cleaning up "wasn't his job" and I went off on him and said "kind of like coming out to scheduled appointments isn't part of your job?" among other things :-p they are coming back end of the week to once again fix said dishwasher

We had some problems with out carpet people as well. I made it very clear that they would have to cut the line between the living room & the bedroom first since I was locking our bedroom door (with all our expensive electronics in it) before we left for work & the guy tried to fight with me about how they needed it open. In the time he argued with me he could have just cut it. I won though.
Hope today goes better for you.
