Finally the iphone can send and recieve pics
hey just got the new update for my iphone. i can finally send and receive pic texts. its stupid how they made us wait this long. im happy now haha

Email has always worked just fine for receiving. Some of my friends have even been smart enough to email me pictures the first time around instead of me having to go "can't see it, email it" after getting that stupid "I have sent you a multimedia message!" text

its the 3.1 update. i got it last week. but i got a text from at&t today saying to restart my phone so the mms setting will update or something like that. so yeah update to the 3.1 software

ok so i guess a few people dont know still but....
MMS is covered with your Text Plan/Data Plan. if you have LIMITED SERVICE on either, i would not send pictures of your ***** to your gf/wife/bf/partner, as it will cost you after your limit. if you have UNLIMITED service, send away. i send 45 pictures of my ******* just in the last hour.
AND, MMS is a CARRIER UPDATE only, not a firmware or software update. all it does it add a few lines to the carrier file. soooo you will notice its STILL 3.1 software for the iphone. 3.1.1 is for developers (ie. myself), and comes with a few other features -- but no great change.
...for you hardXre folks, you should not be able to tether also, if you dont know what that means, well google it.
ps: if you have cydia, it makes it easier with PDANET tho.
