I live on a street that people use to cut from Ocean Ave down to Stownstown and Junipero Serra Ave. People fly down my block like their running from the police. The city took out the speed bumps and also removed the 25 mph sign so it was a matter of time before some tool crashed his ride. Its not uncommon for people to do 70 down my street.
Yesterday morning some guy in his brand new Z06 was flying up my block when he lost it and crashed right into a tree on the other side of the street nearly hiting a SL55 and a new Range Rover.
When i asked the guy what happened all he could say was that his shoe lace was loose and it caused him to hit the gas and not the brake. Idiot.

looks like a z06. see the black gill in front of the rear wheel. and the small z06 badge on the front fender.

 

I was going to say the same thing.

 

Considering they never made a convertible Z06 I think it's a safe bet that the badge and vent forward of the rear wheel are "rice".

 

ah yes, i neglected to notice the drop top.

 

It looks like he's got the ultra-rare rear wheel steering, too.
