i am definitely sending my lights out, since i have a wrx im gonna buy the sti units then send those out. when i get them back, im gonna have the rockblocker installed on them... i only have 11,000 miles on my car and my stock cleared headlights look like crap so hopefully everything will turn out good and hold up... id rather pay someone to do it and have a warranty, than mess up some expensive headlights or have a migrane the whole time im doing the retrofit.

should i not use sti headlights... i have a question into hid tech about retaining the leveling motors. should i just convert wrx headlights to hid and have someone do all the wiring if the leveling motors cant be retained?

i think dchou on nasioc is experimenting with the leveling motors, but I doubt they can support the weight of a whole projector
I have an STi now, but im using a set of WRX lights for the retrofit

and then youll use the ballasts and wiring from your sti units? right? if i went with wrx lights to send in for the retrofit what would be my parts list to make everything work correctly and converting to hids with the a6 hella bixenons? thanks, norm

Yes that is what I did, you will just need to cut a hole on the bottom of the WRX headlight so you can feed the wires for the ballast. And the ballast screws directly to the bottom of the headlight. Also, you will need to do some wiring to get the high-beams to work for the bi-xenons.
