Yea seen the beta a long while ago but dont u need an invite only code for early release? A friend of mine at ign said u do

 

Gamestop website has a prepaid for pc download and early release play

 

Just order the digital copy in amazon, you get 10 dollars in credit, a free month and a bunch of pets and vanity gear. Oh and you get early access as well, they send you the email almost immediately

I played FFXI and EQOA on ps2 so I'm stoked for this game, waited a good 2yrs.

 

I'm very skeptic before I even start on this game.

The first FFIV was terribad... and I heard this gameplay is a bit slower, less action. I guess that's how Final Fantasies are in that respect. I'll have to just wait and watch some streams on twitch before I decide.

 

I have my legacy character still, but I'm starting a new character on Gilgamesh with the EDEN group, which is the group run by RocsLock who puts out lots of great youtube videos about ffxiv.

 

FFXIV 1.0 was horrible, but not for those reasons I'm afraid, I'm worried this is going to be too casual after I spent a chunk of my life on FFXI
