So who's heading out today? I talked to steven@coach about heading up today but I haven't heard from him. I want to go but I don't want to be the jackass wandering around all day by himself

There's a link to some of the pictures I took. They're primarily the F1 cars and some FXXs. I'm also going tomorrow again. If you look at the picture below the guy sitting outside the car (T. Nobles) owns that car and was actually a pretty cool guy. He was talking to a handful of us telling stories about driving the car and then showed a clip of him driving it and actually hitting the grass destroying the front right wheel. Apparently he's talked with Jean Todt, Ross Braw, and Michael Schumacher and they saw his video of smashing the car lol. I envy these guys....I'd kill to be in their position...kill mind you....

No kidding - a lot of people have this conception of fabulously rich people as spoiled douches but most whom we interact with are the self-made kind, who are pretty much as you and me and cool down to earth people..... except they have this team of ferrari engineers working on their F1 car

wandering around by yourself sometimes is better than going with people. at least you don't need to ask anyone for permission to go to another spot.

Man that was awesome! I've watched F1 on TV for a long time, to finally see some real cars in person was well worth everything. Not to mention the FXX cars were sick!

I was going to take a bunch of pics too, but the battery ran out after 2 pictures :-\

man, can't believe i missed this.

i guess it's just as well. i want an F430 so bad it hurts and would probably give me cold sweats+sensory overload to see so many in one spot.

i WILL have one someday tho.....even if i have to move out to the sticks and live in a trailer!

O/T so I'm sorry, but the Infineon website never dictates. What are the days and hours that the Sunoco gas station inside Infineon is open to the public? If anyone knows I'd appreciate it.

Blue with yellow lower half of the sleeves? Blond guy wearing it? If so, it was my friend who I was with, I was probably right next to him with a black SubyDude sweatshirt on.

Cool vid.

Maybe I'm just crazy but it seemed like the F1 cars were much slower than I expected. It almost seemed like the last car was faster. Love the sound though

It was the private owners of the F1's driving them, not some professional driver. It all mattered how ballsy they wanted to be with a car that expensive and non-replaceable.

yea, the F1 cars belong to private owners. from what i heard you have to go through some lessons and be ready before ferrari gives you the car.

F430? screw that. after seeing the FXX...i want a FXX. those things sound so awesome.
