OK, sue me for the cross-post, but I wanted to get the word out. (I also posted in the wheel & tire forum.)

I've rented a fender roller (www.rollyourfender.com) and rolled the rear fenders of my wagon and one other yesterday. It went really well and pretty quick (after the first one). No more rubbing on my 235/40-17s! Now I'll have to try some 245s...

I'll have this rolling tool for the rest of the week so if anyone else would like roll theirs you can chip in towards the rental and coordinate a time with me to come over to my place. You can hold the heat gun and I can manipulate the tool if you want.

how did the paint hold up after the roll? this would be a great chance for baic'ers to get their fenders rolled!

 

LIC rolled mine without cracks...but Kevin did spend some time warming the paint...plus LIC have rolled dozens of lips and are pros.

 

my buddy has one too. we rolled mine and no problems with rubbage.

We didn't have any of the 4 fenders crack the paint. We just got it good and warm like the directions said.

No problem! After looking around for someone to roll mine, without success, I can understand that others are in the same boat!
