This.

In my brothers Boy Scout troop you weren't allowed to use your knife on a camping trip unless you were in a 6foot by 6foot area they had marked away from the common areas. Clueless, overprotective people disgust me.

So much for the knife badge. Later on in life when they are in an emergency and in dire need of a knife let's pray they're in a 6 foot by 6 foot squared off section

So I am guessing no 22LR shooting or badges either than?

Don't get me started on knives...My sailing school has a youth program where we teach kids how to sail, maintain boats, etc...I got in trouble for showing a junior high kid difference between knives and how to use them fixing and emergency situations. Parent got all bent out of shape out it...

I am sitting here dead because my mind has been blown

I went to a tidepool field trip in advanced Bio HS class and my teacher was the coolest guy, we were fishing perch on the side of the pier in santa cruz and he busted out this 6 inch knife to gut it and show us hows its done.

How are kids going to learn anythig if we keep this sh8t from them?

lol that was a recipe in the Anarchist cookbook I downloaded when the internet was first discovered except there was a something about a balloon, a large wick fuse and some matches.

(Note of any Feds reading this, I threw away the cookbook and didnt attempt to make anything described in there. It was merely a curiosity thing)

HA! I downloaded the Anarchist Cookbook off of a Berkeley BBS pre-internet. I think I was in 7th or 8th grade. Ahhh...the good 'ole days.

I had an original copy of the AC back in highschool. My Junior year a teacher saw a couple friends and I Huddled up together over the book reading how to make home brew L S D. He took the book and then gave it back to me on my senior year as a "Graduation Present". I have since lost it in one of 40 or so moves i have done since then.
