I think GC gives you a period of time to exchange the springs for free after you bought their c/o. Preloading the front springs are not something really bad, just a little less droop. I would raise at least 1/2" or so, since your front spring rate is relatively soft, I'd think you should have enough droop even you raise it up a little.
