considering I have probably 40 bottles of jack in my house right now....mostly empty.
black label. Green label. Single barrel. Gentlemen. You name it. If they make it I have it.
So ummm...yeah I'd have to say that jack would be my drink of choice.
as my brother once said.....jack and water.....makes my money go farther.

=international B;1875758]is there a place around here to buy absynth? I saw a show on the history channel about it, and how its banned and have been curious ever since.
This is his line of Absinthe

It is very very good. I've had the Jade Verte Suisse.
It is also very expensive with the shipping costs to the US. ($166 for my bottle)
There are some less expensive brands on that site which I'm sure are still of great quality.
Here's that History Channel episode on YouTube

What?
Anyway, just scored a bottle of Porfidio while on my most recent trip to Mexico. The distillery is shut down...again...
When I'm drinking at home...my own homebrew is unbeatable. I make beer that has *****! None of that fizzy yellow crap.
At the bar it's Stone ale, fat tire, or Sierra Nevada.
When it comes to the hard stuff I stick to Don Julio. Cuervo is for kids with a one way ticket on the porcelain express. Patron is way over rated and tastes like it's got sand in it.

CNS, what are you brewing right now? I'm currently drinking my ESB but it's running low and I'm gonna make a starter tonight for a brew session on Sunday. Problem is, I can't decide what to brew given the weather. Input?

Sailor Jerry is good stuff. I worked for Young's Market Company (a wine and spirits ditributor) and we had a big push to get that stuff in our accounts about a year ago. I was given a whole case (12x 750) as samples. Best part is that I was able to sell it in to all of my accounts without handing out samples which = me getting to keep the case to myself. A year later and I only have a bottle left though.

That might be true, but I've had it a couple times and actually had the bartender give me a blind taste test, and I couldn't tell the difference. I cant justify dishing out around $200 for an ounce and a half. Unless its of some sticky icky.

Pics Please!
