That's friggin' hilarious!!! "OUR SPORT"? We are come-alongs at best in the USA. If it weren't for those Japanese drivers running the canyons late at night... there wouldn't be a 'sport', if that is indeed what it is. I vote it's entertainment. No different from the movie you are afraid to watch.

This is a sport?

the only thing that really stands out in my mind in the first FnF was when paul walker parked his ford lightning and nailed his front lip on the curb..I dont know why but it makes me cringe to this day

ok analogy if there are slow people here:
USA Street (Drag) racing:Japan Mtn Racing
its just that the Mtns in Japan are policed just like our USA industrial park straight-a-ways are policed. And its like Tsuchiya is acting in the movie more for the ricers, and not for the true drivers and he doesnt realize it or something.
If you had Tsuchiyas "Class" would you really Co-Star in a movie with a F*ing retard hick "drifter"??? does Tsuchiya realize how much respect he lost?
Ok this is me in Tsuchiya's shoes:
Tsuchiya "cool im on the movie set of FAF Tokyo Drift!"
10 minutes later...Director "ok people lets shoot the N00b drift scene (you know, the one where the hick drifter slams into everything on the loading dock (Tsuchiya fishing), totally unrealistically, nobody is that crappy of a driver)
Tsuchiya "ok this movie isnt for me, sorry but no thanks"
Tsuchiya must've been paid some big money to do that role, but i guess i cant blame him.
