People always talk about "oh yeah this car will beat a F1 car because it goes 265 mph blah blah blah...etc."
And my only response is, maybe in top speed due to different gear ratios, but can it handle like one? Hell no.

Anyone who thinks they can beat an F1 car in anything but an F1 car is an IDIOT.
Veyrons, Mclaren F1, lambos... NONE of those cars can even come CLOSE to how fast an F1 car goes. Not even in the same category and I think this video does a good job comparing the two.

almost all of the people that's lucky enough to drive a Formula 1 car always comment about the stopping power more than the acceleration. i have read that trainers for F1 drivers say that a regular joe will have no problem driving a F1 car, but they probably can only drive a lap or two at most.
either David Coulthard or Martin Brundle commented on how a modern Formula 1 car can brake at any speed for any turn at the 100m mark.

There is absolutely no WAY an average joe could POSSIBLY lap an F1 car like that without SERIOUS amounts of prior seat time.. They just wouldn't have the kind of reaction time / instincts required to react.. Period.. I've seen and read interviews from a number of hot lappers that have been given the opportunity to try an F1 car out.. They all say the same thing.. The car feels nearly out of control at the speeds they were able to lap with it.. Too much brakes - too much power - not enough grip. They would have to push WAY past the "I'm going to die" barrier in order to get close to bringing the car into a level where it could actually perform..
And I'm sorry - but look at those f1 cars lapping again.. No WAY an average Joe could muster up the reaction time and precision to handle those corners.. I mean - you put yourself a few feet out of line in the wrong place and you are going to eat wall. Miss your breaking markers by a foot and you're done.. At those speeds we are talking about precision down in the hundreths of a second range..
So - average Joe in an F1 car? bahahahha
I've seen / towed enough average Joe's around tracks to know what a laugh that is.

Unreal. It's like a night and day difference...
I knew there'd be a difference, but WOW, what a difference!!!
