DAMMIT, they really did it!!! USF sold off the FM 90.3 frequency and booted KUSF off the airwaves!
For those of you who don't know, KUSF was a great alternative programming station that played all sorts foreign and non-mainstream music (electronic, punk, experimental, indies, etc.) and news/programs for the last four decades.

I'm pretty steamed about this, not only because I'm a USF alum, but I've been a station listener for more than a decade! It's expanded my horizons and played things that I had never heard before, and now it's gone!!!
Support the cause, bring KUSF back to FM 90.3!!!!!!!

Well, if you ever want, you can still hang out with them...
... in their Internet radio broadcasting booth.

Thanks man, it's just another example of the little guy getting shafted by the big wigs. Just more ironic than usual because the big wigs in question here are always talking about looking out for the little guys.

I'm still butthurt about KSJO, KOME, and KNGY too.
Several, actually. Energy 92.7 (24/7 all electronic genres! -- gone), KUSF 90.3 (regularly scheduled electronic programming -- gone), Stanford Radio 90.1 (plays house, ambient, acid jazz, downtempo, etc. sometimes -- still on!)...
Well, at least I still have blues and reggae on KPOO 89.5...
