mods feel free to move this but I want BAIC input.
My current 225/45/17 RT-615 are in need of replacement and wanted to step up to something a little bit wider.
I have rolled the hell out of my rear fenders (+1 for psuedo wagon fender flare) so there is no rubbing in the back and i've not experienced any rubbing in the front at all.
I am curious if any other wagon owners have fit a Falken RT-615 in 235 size on a wagon and if so did you need an 8" wheel and/or coil overs?

zero scratches on my 17x7.5".
I was hoping that I could do it without tire bulge. damn.
Are you guys still looking for a wagon model?

i saw a guy on nasioc with bbs sti wheels and 235 40 17 falkens. it looked good. the bulge was nothing big, and it actually filled out the gap really nicely. i think he might have been on coilovers though. i personally have 235 40 17 bstone s03's which run a similar width to the 615s. i have +44 offset on 17x8 and no rub on the rolled fenders. i think your setup will be fine personally.

The reason I specify the tire make/model is the RT-615 is the widest 225 i've ever had. Pirelli PZero Nero M+S wasn't this wide, neither were the Falken ST-115, or FK-451.
So has any one actually run the RT-615 specifically in the mentioned configuration? I need to get new tires soon but don't have the cash to upgrade wheels to 8".

if I could get a 50-53 offset wheel that would be ideal.

i'd suggest getting some +53 offset wheels like mine. but I think you'd be fine on the 48's...
I was thinking about rolling and running 245's.

id be more afraid of rubbing on the inside than the outside for sure...i think the +48s will be perfect

it's a very slight bulge. You'll have a slight rub at lock out and you'll need some camber in the back to push the top of the tire in. That is a wide 235.

not to get off topic, but what did they do wrong? i've always gone in and told them what I wanted and they did it.

I guess the only way to know is get them mounted and find out.
At least I have a set of 16" for backup/winter wheels.
