Okay, I thought there was a thread about this, but couldn't find it. So here goes - what do you do with friend requests from people that are/were "friends" but you don't consider FRIENDS.

refer them to your like page

 

I have some friends from high school who have sent friend requests, but I haven't really talked/hung out with them since then. Trying to figure out what I'm going to do. It's not like they're strangers, but...

 

add them I really dont care about FB, that is why you were added ryball

 

I like the third option. You really thought about this..

I say add them, I mean who cares there is nothing really secret or private on my FB. If I post I need something that is another person that can help or may know some one that can help.

 

I should have added another option -

"Add them, then dump them in a bucket of people who don't have rights to see anything."

 

.... yeah I dont know how to do that.

 

How do you set that up anyways? I know there are people I would prefer not to see everything on my page, but I've been too lazy to figure out how to give them limited visibilty to my page (Basically people that are only friends for helping with games on Facebook - Like Mafia Wars friends).

 

add them. i really hate people that trim their lists every week and then announce that ****. attention much? i just add whomever throws an invite. i've been hit up with car work/smogs and such.

you can choose to just show your status to a certain clique of friends if you want.

 

Add them. I just stick to the idea of, if I have met them in person, I accept. If I get a request from someone I have absolutely never met, they get denied.

 

just like my rule for the office - i add them, but under a friends permission group that shows them nothing. just the fact that i have an fb.

 

I go by this standard as well. Unless I've met the person in real life but hate them -- that gets an Ignore.
