Eye lid questions

I noticed that some eye lids are taped on with 3M double sided tape. So how safe is that? I mean someone can just walk by and yank it out in seconds?

Also, those that have them, how does the turn signal work if you have those on? Are they still visible?

Lastly, where can I go to have them painted in the Bay Area? I am thinking about painting the eye lids, side skirt and the fog light housing all at once. Any estimates on price?

Thanks!

buy all the parts from MPJ and they will come painted.

makes it a lot easier and even cheaper.

They are stuck on by tape, but it has a lip as well so it would be hard for somoene to steal them

get some super duty, weather resistant 3m outdoor tape and they will be on there!! plus the hood helps hold them down too.

the turn signal works just the same, its just you only see a small sliver of the bottom, but still very visable.

and go to mpj or gruppe-s and they will be painted already.

Thanks everyone for the input. I've ping'ed MJP and we'll go from there.
