EVO VII Sighting Yesterday!

I almost forgot. On my way home yesterday, As I was going up Old Santa Cruz HWY, as it runs parallel with HWY 17, I saw a Yello car coming down HWY 17. It had theEVO VII hood, the one with sort of cutouts on each side of the hood, and a pretty large wing on the back. And yes, I know how to differentiate a OZ lancer from a EVO VII. Has anyone else seen this one? I swear to the almighty it was the real deal.

Karl, I think someone posted about this car before. From what I remember it was in the Santa Cruz Area as well. Gray market one I guess. When is the USDM EVO launch? January?

They have kits for the mirages... i mean lancers that are out now. Ive seen them on ebay. It has the hood the trunk with wing, front bumper etc. I could have been just a kit.

yup lancer kits on mirages.... I think the best way to tell if it was a real deal is to see if it had a FMIC

There is a bunch of EVOs in Taiwan w/o FMIC

nope you can't, well unless its a RHD then yes, but LHD then no. Remember that Japan is not the only country that gets EVOs...

edit:

oh and Evolution Imports Imported some EVOs this year.

Do the kits provide the larger fender flares? Those would be pretty easy to spot. Or, you could always look for the Brembos
