Well you'll be even more impressed because he didn't start until he was 19. I'd guess that it is "China's Got Talent" not Chinese Idol...

auditions were today in SF, FYI they don't really enjoy a jazzy rendition of 'Never gonna give you up'.

There was obvious pedal work when he was playing the piano... how'd he do that?

I met this guy in china in my delegation last summer when we did a cultural exchange program with the Beijing Disabled Arts Troupe. I'm not sure if he is still with them, but he showed me how he ate with his feet. Probably the only time I'll ever be inspired by feet in my life.

Paul Potts' performance from a few years back on "Britain's got talent" is still the most moving performance I have ever seen on any of those shows... It blew me away and even brought a tear to my eye (could have been the Thai food that created the tears, lol), but UNBELIEVABLE to say the least! If you haven't seen it before, you should really check it out... I don't now why Susan Boyle was regarded so highly and considered the best performer of all time (from those shows) because Paul Potts blew her away.

Here's his first performance at the debut auditions:

Huh? I heard the sustain pedal on the whole time... no pedal work at all.

That's why he wasn't able to mute the keys at it would mush the sound.

But as far as the keyboard work he did, it was obviously amazing.
