it was an okay turnout, definetly a decent turn out for only having a 3 weeks notice to advertise the meet.

 

Never mind.. Going to stay at home. To chilly out for me just getting over a cold.

 

If the SF guys go i should be there too.

 

I stopped by for a little bit yesterday...

Checked out the WRX that ESX brought out.



Tires were a little intense...



Engine bay is a little intense...



Then they started it up...

HOLY **** THAT TURBO IS INTENSE...



Apparently it's pushing something like 1,100 HP and it will do a quarter mile in 8.9 seconds. Very impressive.

It was also cool talking to the guy about Born to Race since I already saw it and he was telling me about all the crazy **** that happened while they were filming it. Super cool.

 

My mother in-law text'd us with pictures of the ESX cars. Look intense.

We convinced them to look at Subaru's over Ford and BMW

 

I was out there for a little while today.
All of the ESX guys were super chill and cool to talk with.
I was told that once they are able to get their hands on one, the next big project is going to be a 1,500HP 6.0second BRZ.
Cant wait to see that.

 

I'm curious since I stopped by to do a test drive if they were the ones trying out the SMB Forester, the "Little Old Grey Haired Lady" driving it bought it on the spot.

FWIW I was actually impressed by everyone's WRX's as well as the 2.5's. Sorry I wasn't more into trying to introduce myself but I was trying to finish up to get to my wife's b-day dinner over @ Halu.

 

Went to this on Sat, it was aiight, some of the Subies there were hella sick & that ESX WRX drag car was insane! At least i got some free food & drinks, but i really hope i win that raffle. Until next time...

 

I wish I would have went. It seemed like it was a cool event and that WRX looks amazing. I was stuck at home working on papers for school all weekend.
