Soggynuts, the prophecy WAS right though. Anakin does kill the Emperor in the end and destroys the Sith. Luke just gets him to that point.
Oh, and the movie kicks so much *** I can't even believe it. I saw it opening night and I'm going to Grand Lake to see it again this afternoon.

In my opinion the prohecy was totally wrong.
The only balance brought to the force was brought about by the end of Episode III (where Vader does indeed even the balance) Until the End of Return of the Jedi.
Balance is defined as: Palpatine & Vader = Yoda & Obi-Wan.
Once Vader kills the Emperor, there is just Luke as a trained Jedi.....no more balance.
The fights between Dooku and Anakin and Samuel L. Jackson and the Emperor DIRECTLY correspond to the conflict in Return of the Jedi and this scene WAS the pivotal scene where you know Vader is born.
And is the redemption in Return of the Jedi.
