Reminds me when I was in Kiska, Alaska. We found ammunition, guns, crashed planes, ships, submarines, spark plugs etc. from WW2. It's a National Historic Landmark and was absolutely amazing to see.

I got a few train tunnels in the Santa Cruz Mtns. Used to ship redwood to SF after the earthquake and built the Santa Cruz Wharf I guess...Then they covered the entrances blew up some before WWI or II.
This one was converted to hold gubermint documints

SC to SJ could be 10 minutes if they made new tunnels, I dont see how they made them 100 years ago and not now. especially with the hwy17 death toll.
