Egged: Part 2

What the heck!!!!

I'm in the outer sunset in S.F. and this is the 2nd time in 2 months. and the 3rd in a year. All of them after 12:30 at night. I don't even know anyone, I didn't cut anyone off, no dirty looks to other drivers, nothing. Why do people do thi? What is the source of satisfaction for them doin this to people they don't even know. Do folks out there hate certain "import cars?" This has happened when I was totally stock, as well as slightly modded. I hope that justice is due to these fools, especially if they do it for no good reason.

Just venting a little from the stupidy of societies losers.

Yeah...water and soap....just like regular.

The problem is when it's on too long it eats the clearcoat.

On top of that it cracks the clearcoat on impact.

Talk to your insurance agent and see what their policy is on this. We bought my girlfriend a special policy and it covers her paint and interior from things like this...even from bird crap.

I can't stand when people mess with peoples cars. But the sad thing is that these are probably high school kids and they just haven't learned the value of things like cars. They don't have to pay for their own stuff. I mean..I've never egged a car (cop car once while they were driving) but I can say I've done some stupid stuff along the years. Toilet papered cars...filled a car with those tiny packing beeds..stuff like that. But I'd never throw eggs.

If you've been hit 3 times, these kids clearly know you.... I'd invest in a car cover. A decent one with the padding on it. make sure it's washable...or drycleanable.

Better to spend $250 on a decent cover than $4k plus for a decent paint job.

Thanks! Stupid kids, I'll be moving in a few months away from those dumb kids, or dumb adult. At least birds have no idea what they are doing when they plop one on your car. I guess some people have smaller brains than birds!

not so sure abou that....

seems that I can go weeks without getting hit. Soon as I wax the car....BAMB.

huge...right on the hood.

wash the car....boom. every time. I think they talk to each other. They have a secret network and when the see someone washing their car they let everyone in the hood know about it.

Once in Sacramento I got hit like....at least..no joke...100 times. Never seen so much crap on one car before. I wasn't even under a tree.

Car had been washed/waxed ....like 2/3 hours.

Had to take it through one of those god forsaken drive throughs on the way out just to get it off....old car...non subaru...
