easy ipod question.

hey, i just got my ipod today.
btw. i have a PC.
anyways i followed the instructions... my ipod needed to be formatted or something so i plugged it in and now it's "waiting for ipod..." and it's been going through all the loading bars, then starting over again.
seems pretty dumb to me. is something wrong? my ipod says "do not disconnect"
i've been sitting here for 10 mins waiting for it.

thanks for any help!!!

Yea, initially the iPod seems pretty weird like that. I freaked out when I got my 4th gen (click wheel) iPod froze my dual G4 Mac the first time I plugged it in cuz it was a used one that was formatted on a PC. Then I just restarted my computer and it was perfectly fine. Recognized it on iTunes and took care of the reformatting super quick.

I hope you're having fun with the thing! I remembered initially I could barely fill 5 gigs cuz I couldn't decide what I should have in there. Hahaha.

yeh. i got it to worked. i guess i was just really timid. I closed it and rebooted. everything is cool now.

i have another question though. I got a few blink 182 songs... I named the album the same but when i'm going through my ipod, it separates them. Now i have 3 songs in "blink 182" album and one in "blink 182". I thought that since the names were the same, they'd match...

any ideas? thanks!
