If cops were rapists, then how could they protect school zones without violating the law???? But they are the law!!! So that means...all cops violate themselves!

sheesh!!!!

Not only are cops rapists but *******?

Sorry, I'm not a cop hater at all, but some of the fines for such ridiculous stuff is akin to rape.
Perhaps you should, not break the law then? I mean, what makes you think YOU should be in charge of YOUR penalty?

"Hi, I broke the law, but I think I should only have to pay $5. Here you go."

I'm not saying I don't, I just don't complain about the repercussions.

If it's only 5 bucks I'd like to pay in advance please.

I'm not complaining. Just making rational, unbiased observations.

Since when do LEOs discern the fees for breaking the law and since when do they actually get your money?

Oh wait, that's right. They don't do either. It goes the city/state/county.

Its something called a conscience. I don't know how some cops can sleep at night, I really don't.

I've been pulled over before and given tickets for things that I was not in violation of. Cited for no CA DL when I had a valid NYS license and gave no indication of how long I have been in the state nor asked when I was leaving.

Of course it doesn't go directly to the cop, but every city/state/federal agency has to justify their inflated budget one way or another. And in tough economic times like this, everyone is trying to prove their worth so their salary isn't on the chopping block when the axe is swung.

So that makes calling LEOs rapists OK?

Sorry, I don't buy it.

I guess if my driving record were like a hymen, then cops are rapists. Otherwise, they're just out there to keep the peace. And keep donut shops in business.

Quite right but I do feel the need to call out the bull**** when I smell/see it.

Calling LEOs rapists in general terminology for doing their job and keeping the streets safe is arrogant and ignorant and I won't just sit by while it happens.

Every person here who condones this action I find them morally reprehensible.

The vast majority of us drive street-illegal cars; that is, cars that have been modified beyond the scope of OEM parts and CARB law - so we tend to get pulled over a lot and receive citations.

Guess what? That's the game you play when you drive a modified car and sometimes over the speed limit. Don't like the consequences? Get a stock car and drive no more than the posted speed limit and shut up.
