I have worked here for the last 6 going on 7 years and you don't need a degree for everything here. There are still lots of things that you can fo without. I have worked everywhere from the Mailroom, Technology Partnerships, Education, Public Affairs, Rotocraft, HR, to Fuid Dynamics/Thermal Protection. I have been all over the center and networked my way around rather well due to the positions I have had here.

You can have a tour... You have a PM.

Sorta. There are not any public tours organized but if you know someone you can get a private tour.

Damn! That's one hell of an earthquake drill!

Whenever we have earthquake drills, all you do is exit into the parking lot, they take a head count and time it, then we go back in. Takes about 15 mins all together.

PS: We had a real earthquake a few years ago when I was working at Adobe (15th floor)... Now THAT was scary! The building is designed to sway during a quake, so the 5.5 felt like an 8.5! One of the first times I've ever been startled by an earthquake.

Field trip!?

I worked there for 3 months one summer as a lab technician, basically setting up a big lab for the scientists. Not very fun to work there... And they treat you like crap since most of those engineers are socially inept and can't hold a conversation for more then 3 seconds.
