Sports Basement is where I get my tix, cheap!
I used to work at Any Mountain during the winter season(to help brother in-law); free lift tickets, free rentals, 60% off everything. Your best bet would be to try and get a seasonal job there haha.

Got a little bit of snow up here in the sonora pass area. Didn't stay long enough for me to preseason session....yet. Hopefully weather will be more compliant.
I am supposed to get my Jones Snowboard tomorrow. Quite excited. Need some snow soon so I can try it out.
Snowflow, you live in the Long Barn/Pinecrest area? I think I remember reading some posts that would indicate that. I am in the Bay Area, but during the winter, I go to Dodge about every other weekend, at worst.

Also, toying with the idea of getting a sled in the next couple years, so will be going further back on 108 during the winter as well hopefully.

Just posted this in the latest purchase thread, but it seems more appropriate to put it in here.
Just got my new board in the mail today. Boy it is sexy. Jones Snowboards is attempting to be more environmentally friendly and trying to cut down the chemicals that are used in the board. This shows through on the top deck where it is raw wood where even the decals are just burned into the wood. It is such a simple, but great look. Also, for the snowboarding itself, it is magnetractioned for the icy days and also is partially rockered and partially cambered. I can't wait to ride this beast, but all the reviews I have read say this is one awesome board.
By the way, it is the Jones Snowboards Flagship 168W.
And now a pic of my old beat up Burton to be replaced by the new.
