E85: Propel vs others?
There are a few Propel stations close too me but there is also a few non-Propel ones. I wonder if someone did a comparison for E85 quality and supply stability between local Propel and non-Propel E85 stations. For example there is on on Comercial St in San Jose near 880 and 101 intersection operated by Chevron. Price is noticably higher than Propel@Montaque (3.85 vs 3.29 as of today).

Propel seems to be the most consistent from what i've tested. I generally test once a week at the Whipple station in Redwood City it's always been E88-E90 range since i went E85.
My buddy fills his Evo at the Propel/Chevron at 735 West Capitol Expressway San Jose, CA 95136 and constantly hits the same ratings.
I'd test every fill up from the mom & pop or other stations just because i'm paranoid like that. Ed mentioned to me that Propel seemed to be pretty good and consistent from his experience.

Propel in Oakland and Berkeley have also been just as consistent. I've had one time in 3 years of using E85 where it was lower then E85 but that was it.

no predet from redwood city as rob said. I run a e85 91 mix for a 93 tune.
No, but a lot of friends around me do.
Running E85 on my N/A would be cool though.
From what I've noticed, thompson fuels also have higher pricing at the Valero station near my house. GST pumps from there also and run's test vials before using it, to make sure its adequate enough.

Yup, that's exactly how i test the E85 from the Propel stations. E85 on a N/A would be awesome. I wonder what the gains would be!
