Players will no longer need a control pad or joystick to control on-screen video game action, after Microsoft launched “Project Natal”, a motion-sensing control system for its Xbox 360 video games console.
The announcement was made as Microsoft unveiled new technology and a formidable video game line-up for the Xbox 360. The device will do away with the need for a traditional control pad or joystick in favour of a high-tech camera that can pick up movement.

The rumors were true. Microsoft has just officially announced its answer to the Nintendo Wii. Although we all expected a camera similar to 3DV Systems' Z-Cam hardware, the device is actually a bar with three holes
idk..from the vids seems like some lame games but im sure they will improve those (i would hope)

there's already been an eyetoy for the PS2, but most of the games were only fun for a while. I bet most games for this will be fun a bit, but will probably become boring.

Yeap its legit, was announced at MS's E3 Press Conference earlier today. Sony's shown-off the same kinda stuff with the PS3 Eye and has rumored you'll be able to control the XMB hands-free with it. Sounds cool and all, but don't see myself getting into it anytime soon.
However, interacting with "Milo" sounds pretty sad. Might be more into it if it was some smokin' hot chick with adult content desires
