Dyno graph and Impressions of EQ Tuning experience
I really can't explain the highly detailed effort that Ed put
into tuning my WRX. He refused to finish until every bit of the tune (on
the computer and on the road) was up to his high standards. Before the
Ecutek reflash and his tuning, I had always held the ignorant belief that
an uppipe/turboback with MBC setup made similar power as those same mods with a tune. Holy sh%* did he prove me wrong. With my previous setup I dyno'd
at 196AWHP/201AWTQ, and after the tune I made 216/225! (both on his dyno
and both on the same day) That's 20AWHP and 24AWTQ gain running only
slightly higher boost! A car with nearly identical mods as mine but running at Stock boost put down 180/190 on his road dyno, which thus equates to a 36HP/35TQ gain over an up/downpipe, catback WRX.
In addition to this, my 02 WRX is making 15.5PSI
at 2830RPM's (to give an idea of how quickly it starts making power).
Aside from how ridiculously hard the car now pulls on a stock turbo, the
most noticeable change in the car's behavior is how incredibly smooth it
is throughout the entire power band. If any doubters of Ed's ability to
tune a car for power and safety without a dyno would like a ride, I
am perfectly happy to offer one any time. I also know for a fact that at full throttle my A/F ratio never goes above 10.8:1. I am fully confident in the
safety of my car, and immensely impressed by the power it is now putting
to the wheels. I highly recommend Ed to anyone hoping for a truly
personable, detailed, safe, and powerful tuning experience.

P.S. The above dyno graph shows my car tuned versus my car with same mods but the MBC instead of the tune

That's right! Gotta do a little more tuning to take advantage of that catback
