I'm using Maxell. Memorex is good. Is it true that the more darker the purple on the DVD surface the better? The Maxells are pretty dark, not as dark as the Memorex.

tried this last night, for those who don't want to pay for anydvd. try dvd43. I was able to decrpyt Stealth (sony pictures) using dvd43.

+1, I tried anyDVD until the trial period ran out, then went to dvd43. It hasn't had a problem yet

try dvd decrypter. It's a free program that basically burns a copy of the dvd to the hard drive, and from there you can do whatever you want with it.
