Well, there you have it, I was wrong again. I was positive that you were Wesly Crusher from Star Trek! But you are far too clever for a puny computer like me. Now you can go and tell everyone while I sit here and try to put the pieces of my crumbled existence back together.
You can help me with one thing, though. If you tell me who you were and give me a good yes/no question, then I'll be able to guess it right next time. Wouldn't that be nice? But please, try to pick a general question that would be answered "yes" for some characters and "no" for some others. For example, "Are you Monica's brother?" is a bad question, because the answer is "no" for many many characters and "yes" for very few.

AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

It didn't guess Rimmer from Red Dwarf!!!!

You can pretty much get it to know most TV characters. Like I said, it knew fox Mulder (and Dana Scully) as well as a few other non-comedy characters. It has more to do with the likelihood that people have guessed the character before.

Right, but claiming that you stumped it with a non-sitcom character is not much of a victory (*cough*Jen*cough*).

Whoops, I thought I posted this earlier- I didn't stump it, I just picked a couple different answers than it had. Trying it again made it guess Fox Mulder.

Another thing I noticed- it almost always goes at least 18 or 19 questions before guessing- even when it should be obvious it knows the answer after an earlier question.

Well I don’t know how you can say Las Vegas isn’t a sit-com. It is an ongoing show that develops the characters through comedy and drama. I would think that Las Vegas is a mix between domcom and dramedy. Shoot it might even have some actcom in it too.

“The situation comedy, in television vernacular, is called the sitcom. However, this term applies to all types of situation comedy, and, as I will show, there are three distinct types of sitcom. For clarity, I will substitute terms for each type: actcom for the action comedy, domcom for the domestic comedy, and dramedy for the dramatic comedy.”
“The domcom is more expansive than the actcom, having a wider variety of events and a greater sense of seriousness. It involves more people, both in the regular cast and in transient actors brought into individual episodes.”
“A dramedy is the rarest and most serious type of sitcom; its entire being is not devoted to evoking laughter from the audience. Its emphasis is on thought, often presenting themes that are not humorous: war, death, crime, aging, unemployment, racism, sexism, etc. The humor is more comic intensification than an end in itself.”

How is Las Vegas not a sit-com? Shoot I am still trying to figure out what a sit-com is now. You confused me, meanie :P
