I'm always the driver but tonight I'm really sketched. I have an outstanding ticket that I haven't taken care of (lame stop sign violation) and I'm afraid if I even have a sip of beer some cop will smell it and have a reason to take me in.

I stay home on any 'party night'. Not that I usually go to bars/clubs to mingle, but on these nights I make a point to stay inside and avoid the morons crawling around everywhere.

 

101 was littered with CHP this morning on my run down to Monterey. I'm opting to go to a local gathering in San Jose and crash on the floor/couch/nearest hot girl.

 

80 east/west between Vallejo and Fairfield is heavily patrolled. Don't give them a reason to stop you and you are fine. If you do roll through a check point have your license, reg, insurance at the ready. Be courteous. WRX is hot right now cause of the douche who wrecked in the chase last week. Stay safe. If you drink and drive you deserve what you get. Remember the stats. Most of the time the drunk driver lives while everyone else involved dies. Food for thought. Happy new year guys.
