Lowend : FYI, the GT2 does have around 480 WHP but it is RWD. And yes, I've ridden in that car before....it is nuts
. Car belongs to Rob Boynton, Scott is just the (damn lucky) co-driver
Few pics of my wagon on page 8, however they were sorta distant and out of focus....

BTW, what times did folks end up with? I had a 52.9, but unfortunately got stuck in about the hardest class of the day in STX.....both Mike Kyle AND Ralph Schubert showed up in their E30 M3s. My time was faster than many of the cars out there (including more than a few that, on paper, should have been a lot quicker than me
), but only good for 5th (out of 7) in my class
(Ralph, Mike, and their co-drivers were 1-4 in STX). Ralph's 51.1 was easily the fastest non-R tire time of the day.
Almost every other class had, at best, only 1 or 2 of the SCCA "hot shoes" show up. No such luck for me

I was slow, I only ran a 59.6. I thought these Dunlop FM901s would be ok for auto-x since they were cool on the track but i was wrong, plus this was the first time i had done an auto-x in the wagon.
My mom won her class with a 59.8, since she was the only person in b-stock ladies. there are no pics of her but she was driving the silver RX-8.

You forgot to mention - Scott is the lucky... fast as hell driver.
That guy is freakin unbeliveable in his ability to hop into any car (hung over) and be competitive. I've known Scott since we were both 5 year old, and I have never beaten him at a Solo 2 event.

I have:
Helix Up-Pipe
Helix Down-Pipe (I'm switching to a catted unit before i start competing next year)
OEM STI axle-back
OEM STI Rear Sway Bar
Tein Flex Coilovers w/ EDFC
17x7 Rota Formels w/ 215/45 Dunlop FM901s
SS Brake lines
Hawk HPS Pads in front
Stoptech Pads in rear
My car has handle great at the track, but it didnt less than i expected at De Anza. however, i think that is a combonation of three things: my lack of auto-x skill, lack of suspension tuning skill, and maybe less than adequate tires. but i can only be sure about the first reason, hehe.
what i really need to bring my times down is more practice, the reason i have numbers is my mom bought them for me when she bought hers. I wont be competing until next season. maybe i will do a few events over the summer. the thought crossed my mind about running in street prepared but i honestly dont know much about auto-x; so far, i'm pretty much a track day only person. the only auto-x practice i have is the last three Duel at De Anza events.
