Driven Raceway review(New Karting place in rohnert park)
So my friend and I decided to go run a session at the new karting place thats here in town. Its a electric indoor karting facility and just opened about a week ago.
I love the electric part of it as theres a lot more torque coming out of corners then the gas places, and no loss in straight line speed. The karts handle pretty well and overall I like them just as much or better then the new karts in sac at RPM, and WAY more then the karts at Lemans. The track is pretty technical and there isnt really a groove worked in yet, so it will get a bit faster. The place is nice and about the same size as lemans track wise but in a larger building with some indoor golf stuff and a arcade. Pretty cool setup actually. We ran a few sessions and there is a small variance between karts but not too bad. They actually let my friend and I use two karts that they setup for the owners with different tire pressures and alignments and the Karts felt really good but we both actually ran a few tenths faster in random karts setup just out of the box. As of right now there is 420 people registered that have raced so far and Im sitting in the 9th spot with a 19.90 sec lap, and my friend at #13 with a 19.98. Not too shabby for a guy that weighs 247lbs...... Oh yeah, they have a few hot chicks that work there too.

Very wise idea, how much did it cost you and how many laps did you get?
BTW: we should do one off of here.

just go on a buy two get one free day(tue&thur) and then its 3 15 lap sessions for $40. Cool this is is that they will let you buy the sessions on tue or thur and use them whenever.
