Seriously...

There's not enough there to show he was driving insane. I've seen people doing some stupid stuff in the snow... me included.

Looks to me like maybe he got blown around a little in the wind blowing off that big rig and lost traction.... and everyone died instantly. That was nuts.

He drifts across the right lane to the passing lane, then continues out of the worn tire tracks in to the center area of slush, it grabs his tire, he\she overcorrectes and well you see the rest.

I feel bad for whoever was in the vehicle, but even I don't drive at 50+ on slush covered roads. Packed snow sure, fresh snow sure, but slush is more dangerous than anything else in the winter aside from pure ice imho.

I wish I didn't watch this video. Then again, this just reinforces me to drive slow in non-dry conditions.

Maybe the drivers was going a little too fast for the conditions, but it seems the major reason for the accident was that he drifted in he lane to the left of the lane, hit a patch of something that made him overreact and steer to the right, which lurched the car to the right and so he panic counter steered to the left; but he was already sliding into the side of the truck. Contact with the truck suddenly stopped all momentum to the right, and because he was steer left he shoots to his left.

This is classic oversteer correction and you see it all the time on the track. It's not the oversteer that kills you, it's the correction and sudden gain of traction.

The vast majority of drivers are not taught how to handle this and you only learn how to correct out of massive skids like this if you rally or drift. So that initial panic jerk to the right that caused the initial oversteer was his death sentence.

Oven driving a bit too fast, it does not appear from the vid to be "*** hat driving" that initiated the problem though.

Today, they copied the video and showed to his wife ... In general, all in shock. No one understands how it all happened. Here is the thing - when you write a summary and commentary, sometimes you do not see them living people, but when the personal element suddenly appears ... In general, the trouble and broken lives ...
At 300 meters from the site of the accident (road M-7, Moscow - Ufa near the village of Omutischi) November 3, 2007 died Dedjushko actor Alexander, his wife and 8-year-old son. His Toyota Picnic is also here on the left for oncoming sale, though not sideways, but head-on. The road was in the snow was snow. Then write that on the Toyota is more or less preserved only the rear wheels and rear lights, and the remains of bodies went and collected the pieces. The people who ride there, says that rotten place there :/
