subaru really needs to step up their game if toyotas' rav4 can put down those kind of numbers .This must be what it was like when muscle car owners found out about the sti and evo!

Subaru was here and did this 6 years ago, thanks.
BTW, since the ad doesn't tell you, the 1/4 mile time listed by C&D was 13.8 seconds - stock off the showroom floor.
Subaru has been going BACKWARDS since then, unfortunately. They've bloated up the Forester and the turbo model is only available with the automatic.
Not to say that the automatic can't be made to go fast, mind you - my wife has proof of that sitting in the driveway.

i think manufacturers need to stop adding more and more power to cars, especially to bigger cars like SUVs and such. i rather have a lighter car with less hp than a heavier car with more hp.
