Donating King Size Mattress?
Any South Bay or Northern California do-gooders know where to donate a used king size mattress w/ 2 box springs & rollers?
I called Salvation Army, they only take up to queen sized. Saint Vincent De Paul does not take mattresses, nor does Savers. Goodwill will take them if I pay them $10 for the mattress and $10 for each box spring. This may be a last resort.
I tried Craigslist to give it away for free but I started getting a bunch of emails from people with out of state area codes. So, I'm lost.
Any of you i-club do-gooders know where to go or who to contact?
I'd appreciate the help.

the show dirty jobs had a episode on mattress recycling in the bay area. some warehouse in oakland strips them and reuses/recycles much of the material.
