dollar movie theater? any other cheap enterntainment

so are there any dollar movie theaters around here? I wanna know if there's any especially in the east bay, but also somewhere else for future references.

Like the ones you pay $3 or so to watch movies that just got into blockbuster, or underdog movies, or whatever, I don't really care.

I just need some cheap entertainment because I am unemployed and broke but I want to take this girl-friend (notice the hyphen ) somewhere but I really can't afford ****.

the cheap movie theater is my first choice but I am all ears.

Bestbuy usually plays a free movie in the back. Only two seats though so first come first serve.

On a serious note, why not just do another activity like a walk around a lake. You're gonna pay for dinner either way.

It's quite cold to take a walk around a lake right about now, just a few steps from the garage to the door and my hands are frozen already.

I dunno if either of you are the reading type, but I really love going to the bookstore. Buy some coffee at the in-house starbucks and walk around and look at books. It's warm, quiet, relaxing, fun, you learn about the other person/ their interests, and it only costs as much as a cup of coffee (unless you start buying a bunch of stuff). Plus it's pretty cute when a guy suggests that *swoon*

on a side note, costco sells movie tixs to amc or century for like $15'ish for 2...

or if you go to school, they may even sell them cheaper. at cal state hayward, at the AA office, century movie tix are $7.25 each...

You can also check the movie theaters to see if the very first showing of the day is a cheaper rate. I know the Union Landing Movie Theater is only $6.00/ticket for the first showing of the day for any movie (barring special movies like 3-D).

Or that new "XD" crap. I was asking the guy what the big deal was when I got suckered into seeing the fourth kind (UGH...). He didn't really have a good way to pitch it other than "it's digital". I said: "you mean like digital, DLP?" The guy said yes.

Anyway, you could always go to the science and art museum on the first Tuesday. ITS FREE!

wow, let's give the guy some credit. If he is putting this much thought into a cheap way to get laid. I'm sure he is putting more effort into looking for a job which translate to more means for getting laid.

Really???

Not trying to pick fights for Baco, but you don't even know what's going on in his life and you're already telling him what to do. I'm sure if he needed help with finding a job or anything else in his life and he thought we could help, he would ask. Maybe just try to stick to the topic at hand

Forget the movies, just pick up a bottle of Royal Gate Vodka for $8.50 and take her back to your place for a cheap date. You probably won't remember anything the next day anyways.

I see your Vodka, and I raise you two bottles of Boonesfarm for that price @ Wal-Mart.
