Doing a Craigslist "meetup" for the first time
I'm meeting someone up tonight to buy a phone. This will be my first "meet" to buy something. What should I be cautious of?
I'm bringing a couple of friends along just in case.

I've done stuff like this on CL at least a dozen times - never had a problem. I usually try to do it in a mall or grocery store entrance or something so there are people around. Unless its an i-club thing, where I am more likely tpo trust people.

You're probably going to scare the guy with all your friends haha. I do craigslist meets all the time. Nothing to really worry about, although I don't do electronics because I don't know if they've been fiddled with. Just use common sense and you'll be fine.

wait, whats the problem with meeting someone? just them knowing you have cash in your pocket?
i never think twice about it, but im not about to meet in a dark alley way
for some strange reason, i think buying honda parts from someone would be waayy more scary than buying subaru parts
