Agreed.... Sylar is not dead - there's a blood trail going into the sewer.
Even if he did get his head chopped off, there's another badass somewhere in the world - remember the little girl saying that she's afraid to look at someone who can see her when she tries to find him?
If Nathan flew Peter up high enough then let go, he could still be alive. Peter will survive no matter what. Nice that they saved NY from another 911-esque depiction (former New Yorker talking).
Hiro was originally meant to be somewhat of a comic relief for the series. Antics in feudal Japan should be interesting - maybe he'll develop more of a spine. Looks like he's about to hook up with an ancestor of sorts (notice the symbol on the banner).

 

I actually saw the guy that play Sylar in GGP neat the Conservatory 2 weeks ago. He's shorter than I thought he would be, but stil creepy lookin'

 

Did you ever notice the theme where he could only seem to use one power at a time? Not sure that is the case, but it seemed like it. Also, I don't remember Syler using more than one at a time either.....

 

Only in that future episode. Sylar was able to fly around while in using that shapeshifter ability to look like Nathan. I also assume that when Sylar and Peter are having their fire/ice battle, they must be healing at the same time.

 

This is going to be interesting next season if and when they reveal who this person is.
