perhaps this was already covered, but what exactly is peter petrelli's powers?
I mean at this point it's confirmed that his abilities have to do with those in his vicinity, but how does he get to see himself in the future? me no getty

Now, maybe the bullet just obliterated her brain but who knows...as far as Peter's power. He's absorbs others, these new visions haven't yet been explained but it probably has something to do with him being around multple people with powers. At one point he was around Claire, his brother, the cop, Sylar, the Hatain and Claire's dad within a short time so that may have messed him up.
What a great show.

The thing with Peter "blowing up" I wonder if it has to do with being around all the others at the same time. Sorta like he can absorb powers of others, but couldn't handle all at the same time. Perhaps he's the alter ago of Sylar.. Sylar absorbs through killing and is evil.. Peter absobs just by being there, but is good... hell WTF do I know....

Let me get this straight. So, I'm guessing Sylar takes powers by killing someone. So when they're dead, it leaves their powers vacant in some sort of way for the taking as long as their brains are intact. Cutting their heads open was his calling card or something. With the dream about Peter blowing up the city, I'm going to guess he encounters that nuclear pyromaniac at some point (duh). The part about Hiro fighting a dinosaur with a katana, I don't understand, that was so out of place.
Sylar has access to the locations of all the people with special abilities that he got from Mohinder's dad. Then I wonder if his motive is to fix everything (he seemed fairly obsessed with wanting to fix anything broken) that's broken since to him, everyone with those powers are broken in some way, shape or form.

Also, I remember Suresh saying something like "if the soul resides in the human body, it resides in the brain" - perhaps their powers are related to this?
