There used to be a Hunter that was on this site. He had a 2004 STI that was nicely modded. He sold it and now that owner is selling the car. I am trying to get better info about the car to decide about buying it. Can someone lead me to his direction? I believe his name is Brandon Seagal. All I want to know is details about what he did to the engine.

Does anyone know if the engine was rebuilt to handle more power? The new owner is saying that the engine was opened up. I haven't seen enough detail to ensure that.

 

Love the SSR GT2s... But, I'm partial.

 

Just ask him for the receipts? Or does he mean the previous owner (Hunter) rebuilt the motor?

 

 

The current owner says the work was done by the previous owner. They do have receipts but from the ad given something is missing. He claims the pistons and rods have been upgraded yet there is no receipt for that. There is just a line item for engine work and a few grand next to it. Another member from this site said to steer clear of the car since it had problems.

 

um that car had big issues

 

just find a stock STi... it's not worth the trouble if the car did have probs before...

i remember him saying that eip hella messed up his car. He complained about it all the time that his motor and transmission were hella messed up. Thats why he sold it.
