I do work on their Fire Life safety system and I've seen at least 5 Subies with the I-Club decal. I know the food is top notch but I hear and depending what your doing there it can be drama central. Think of it like a hidden paramilitary structure where whoever is making the most money treat the ones who are not like crap...oh yea and you are being watched everywhere! This includes listening devices strategicly placed in certain areas. I'm behind the scenes in that place and have come across some sneaky things that they do lol.

I think (like any big company), it very much depends on what department you are working in. I've worked for their Game Developer Relations Team (I'm a Software Engineer w/ specialty in 3dgraphics) and have had good experiences with the people there. Of course, I've had good experiences with ATi's people too, so maybe I am not a good judge.
But I don't think Nvidia is going to disappear anytime soon so depending on what the position is, your wife has probably a bit of job security.
(P.S. I want all your cars!!!)

I both interviewed there (hardware engineering) and had a friend work there (marketing), and coworker (tech pubs) who came from there. Back then, the management mantra seemed to be "let's still work like we're a start up!" Never mind that the stock option earnings growth potential was no longer there. They liked to throw around the bull**** phrase, "we like to work hard, and play hard"; which, when you strip away the bull****, becomes, "work hard".
The culture seemed to be that you needed to carry yourself like an arrogant ***** or be run over.
My metaphor was they seemed to want your first born, and tattoo the company name on your forehead. If you didn't love the company like this, then they didn't want you. They demand that you be proud to have the privileged opportunity to be part of the team.
Low on the humanity scale.
But I'm not an expert on them, so my opinions are just opinions.
I hope your wife finds a good group and has a good experience; better than the ones I've been exposed to.

I worked in the lab, testing chips. I was only there for a year only because my testing is dependent on incoming shipment after preliminary testing out of the factory the chips are made, and sometimes there would be major issues on delivery. Anyway, the cars in the lot are cool. There are some interesting people that work there. Nobody has an office, even the CEO Jensen has a cubicle (to express the open door policy). Speaking of which, he actually even opened a door for me when my hands were full one time. The food is pretty good Mon-Thur., Fri is ****, because not so many people work that day so its pretty much the weeks leftovers remade somehow. parking can be a ***** if you work midshift. Do you know what department she'll be in? if its anything business related, she'll be fine. If its engineering related, it's a toss up depending on what division, some are cool, others are complete WoW type, live on another planet, have no sense of common courtesy, WEIRDOS that don't understand how socializing works.
