Clubs in the bay area suck ***. There was once a place though. Where people could gather. A place that nothing else could even come close to. You youngsters won't recognize the name.....DV8

Ahhh my friends, this was the place to go if you wanted to party S.F.. Three huge rooms outfitted with the latest sound and light systems. Featuring all types of music, but most importantly Hip Hop. None of that nose bleed E head high energy crap. Friday night was the night to go. Nothing else in the northern bay area even comes close to what the place had. Then, the city shut it down. I think the owner got into some trouble. Oh well.

Now you have dumps like 1015 Folsom that doubles as a Gay club half the week.

Actually, all the places SOM are dirty nasty drug infested dumps.

 

DV8...that is ooold. Rob Schneider was part owner of that place once upon a time, right? Then it was DNA Lounge for a while. Correct me if I'm wrong, I was barely legal to get into those places so my memory maybe off. Though DNA on Friday's was one of the cool spots if you liked breakbeats and the like.

When you start hearing yourself recall about how good things used to be you then realize that YOU ARE OOOOOLD!!! jk

 

I stopped counting birthdays after 25....lol...Now that I think about it...DAMN! I'm 33....ahhh, still wet behind the ears...

I don't ever recall the place being called DNA lounge. My buddies and I just went there on Friday nights and it was definately DV8. As far as I know Rob Schneider (the actor?) had nothing to do with the place. The DV8 I'm talking about was located off of Harrison in S.F. (I'm pretty sure that was the st.). The owner had some stupid nick name like Dr. Pinky or something like that. Last I heard of that guy, he sold all his stuff to cover some debts. and left town.

Now the only time I go to the clubs is when I'm in Vegas. Ra, Foundation room, Rain,...damn I love Vegas.

well guys, i promote for dnc, so if i have parties, or hear about up coming parties that's gonna be crackin, i'll let everyone know!

As for tomorrow, for the 21+, there's club cocomo in sf thrown by Blue ice. as for the 18+, there's a place called westin that underworld is throwing. those are going to be 2 of the biggest parties 2m. to get info on the underworld party, just go to www.upcrew.com. as for blue ice, i'm not sure what their web site is

hopefully, everyone would be willing to come out when dnc is throwing a party. i'll make sure the members of i-club get special treatment!

 

The guys from Underworld are f@gs. Not hating or anything, but Jackson and Ray are shady. If you want to party, goto a Synergy, Blue Ice or DNC party.

 

lol, well, i'm not gonna bad mouth anyone because i'm cool with alice from underworld. but yes, synergy and blue ice have awsome parties. dnc should be getting better soon! so i'm i'm hoping to get the support from everyone i know. we're throwing wednesday parties at city nights. if you guys wanna come out this up-coming wednesday, you better make sure you come early, because it's ladies night, so ladies in free till 12 and guys are just $10 bucks i beleive!!!! so come on out ppl!

I like going clubbing...except I've only gone twice. Both times for a friend's birthday celebration. Same friend too, last year, and again two weeks ago for this year. It was fun though. Most of my other friends don't go clubbing since they're into hanging out at someone's house playing games. That's why I rarely go and I have a lot of boring friends. Haha.

 

Old... How about The Deli.. DNA Lounge is on 11th between Harrison and Folsom. I have been there a lot and I'd say the crowd fits between Ruby Skye and space550 tho both have changed over the years. Never liked 1015. Had some good times at SnoDrift. Mezzanine is shady. Only went to Paradise Lounge once. I hit the clubs pretty heavy till around mid '04 when the suction started to overpower the fun. My friend had list at Ruby Skye so we went there a lot, and never missed a Farina show. Anyone remember BackBeat or San Jose Live? Haha...

DV8 was cool. Let's not get 1015 of today mixed up with 1015 of the past, remember when the top was open. when getting in didn't mean a strip search. before the FOBs sat in the middle of the dance floor.

 

well guys, for those of you who are still interested in going to 18+ parties, let me know! this wednesday, we're having a ladies night at city nights. i really isnt the way it use to be! it's not hecka getto anymore, and for this wednesday, ladies are free till 12 so there's gonna be lots and lots and lots of girlies that are actually 18+!!!!!! email me or pm me if you guys are interested in going! i can arrange a special deal for i-clubbers and i-clubber friends' only!

 

Studio 8 in SJ is still off the hook on thursdays. Probably one of the best clubs right now, hands down. Hot *** girls and a good ratio. Its not a sausage party like other clubs. Ibiza every 3rd saturday of the month is good too.
