Im trying to change my tranny fluid for my STi but subaru doesnt sell the fluid by quarts so im thinking of trying to find a few people who want the fluid too and maybe we could chip in for the big 20 liter one

Its $165 after tax for 21.13 quarts

You need 4.1 quarts on an STi, so this would be ideal if we had 5 people

165/5=$33 for 4.22 quarts of Subaru Extra s fluid

$33 for 4.22 quarts means youre only paying $7.82 per quart which is cheaper than any other tranny fluid i think

I know a vendor on nasioc named FredBeans that sells them for like $20 a quart shipped so this sounds like a really good deal.

So if we have people who want the fluid please post if youre interested and maybe we could meet up at a dealer and get it done. Im located in San Jose CA and the only dealer near here that sells the 20 liter fluid is Stevens Creek Subaru. I asked capitol subaru but they do not sell it

I took my own jug to my local shop and they sold me the amount I needed to change my 6MT fluid. Subaru here in town offered to sell me less than a drum of it too, just wanted me to bring my own container.

How much do they charge at GST and AHQ?? I called 3 dealers near my house and none of them sell quarts
