Now the team claims that findings from space probes sent to investigate passing comets reveal how the first organisms could have formed.
The 2005 Deep Impact mission to Comet Tempel 1 discovered a mixture of organic and clay particles inside the comet. One theory for the origins of life proposes that clay particles acted as a catalyst, converting simple organic molecules into more complex structures. The 2004 Stardust Mission to Comet Wild 2 found a range of complex hydrocarbon molecules - potential building blocks for life.
The Cardiff team suggests that radioactive elements can keep water in liquid form in comet interiors for millions of years, making them potentially ideal "incubators" for early life. They also point out that the billions of comets in our solar system and across the galaxy contain far more clay than the early Earth did. The researchers calculate the odds of life starting on Earth rather than inside a comet at one trillion trillion (10 to the power of 24) to one against.
Professor Wickramasinghe said: "The findings of the comet missions, which surprised many, strengthen the argument for panspermia. We now have a mechanism for how it could have happened. All the necessary elements - clay, organic molecules and water - are there. The longer time scale and the greater mass of comets make it overwhelmingly more likely that life began in space than on earth."
Personally, I believe a person is very ignorant if they believe this planet is the only one that houses organic "life". And the way we see Life consists of 7(?) functions. Some of which that I remember, "Can use and exchange gases" , "Can reproduce", "Can obtain, use and covert energy" and there are a few more.
It's just a matter of time at the point before we gain enough knowledge to venture beyond our current mindset(currently trapped with religion).
I'm not trying to make a religion debate here. But I do believe that the idea of "creationism" is a tad on the false side. Evolution has much more intelligent backings.

There is for sure 100% LIFE out there.. there just has to be.
I also think we are one, if not THE most advanced in the entire universe.
I think if there was someone more advanced, they would have found us and made contact already. The reason I think this, to put it shortly as possible, is look at how fast our technology progresses. Is it unreasonable to think in 100 years we will have technology to visit, contact or at least examine in detail other galaxies? What about the next 100 years? We could be exploring the entire universe (with robots, computers, etc). I believe we are here and were destined by the laws of the universe to literally become one with it through technology, again to put it simply. If we can come this far, in this "short" amount of time, as long as we arent wiped out by a comet or meteor, there is no reason to believe we won't be out visiting other galaxies across the universe.
Again if there is something more technologically advanced than us why we havent been found yet? If you read anything from Ray Kurzweil (The Singularity) then you can find out more about all of this

Jesus I got such a thing for 7 of 9!
On the other hand here is the most compelling UFO evidence to date other than the findings of Erich von Däniken (Chariots of the Gods) Really good book so far, Im only a couple chapters into it.
Paul Hellyer, Former Canadian Defence Minister Press Conference
This video is really boring until about half way through, then its OH MY GOD!!!!
