I sure love rice when compared to the western staple of potatoes! Talk about a heavy food...I like them too...but too redneck!

I eat rice with everything. If I don't know what to eat, I eat rice. Why use pasta, when rice is so much better? Or sometimes just plain rice, or rice with furekake (sp?), ochazuke (mmmmm), or my favorite, rice with wakame tsukedani. Steak on your rice is good, or even hamburgers or hotdogs. I like to mix tuna and mayonaise in my rice (kinda like a tuna sandwich). Rice just goes with anything. And when something tastes like **** and you still have to eat it (asian fools know what I'm talkin bout), just stuff in a bunch of rice with it.
But you know the only way I can't eat rice? That's with a fork and spoon like you Pilipino fools. Just can't do it!!

Every time I take my grandparents shopping at Costco, they always insisit of getting two bags of rice (50lb bag).. I asked why, and they told me its better to have them just in case anything happens.. (like WWII that they went thru...) lol
