Wow what a find.. On the topic of market value, IMHO that will be for sale for a while. If I had the cash to burn I would buy it though. Neat car, awesome intrinsic value and HOLY HELL will it cost a lot of $$ to get it into shape. Bummer about the cracked nose and cancer. Would love another RHD car if I had the space!!

That would be a good place to start. Only thing I can compare to is a friend who does stuff like that and some of the cars he has shown me along the stages. Last one was a pretty special/rare Mustang that was in similar condition. It looks like showroom with some very tasteful touches, but the owner is now in it over $120k. Most of that is time billed @ $125/hr. In comparison, to restore my Mini's front suspension, brakes and clean it up under the hood, the mechanic logged 65 hours and charged me for 44. This sort of work, when done RIGHT, is expensive. You got to either have loads of cash to burn, or REALLY friggin need this car!! Only thing that could make me turn that stoopid is an original Lotus Elite, like a '62, RHD please.

Totally. Now that I'm an old mam with kids there are so many others things to spend. Casings for the doors and windows in the house...3 friggin grand.

I will have my day. I will have a project car at some point.

Jeremy, this is old news! He's been trying to sell that thing for a while now. Stop by the JNC classified section and look for it there. She needs a lot of work, but it could be a beautiful, genuine JDM Fairlady after a full resto. Time to sell the GC already? (Seriously though, don't sell the Subie.)

It has a CA pink slip but isn't street legal. Que?

Cool car, but you will spend a ton on fixing it up.
