Do Sac ramento area people want their own forum?
What do you think?
I am thinking of the following structure:
- Regional Forums
- Nothern California
- Sacramento Area
- Bay Area
Bay Area peeps will post in Bay Area forum.
Sac people will post in the Sac forum.
Those things that need to be viewed by both, will be posted in Northern California Forum.
Basically same structure as the Motorsports forum, where it breaks down to various types of Motorsports, but you will also be able to post under the Motorsports forum itself.
Gimme feedback.

honestly, sacramento does have a lot of active members that post all the time, but I dont think its going to be enough to require our own forum.
if you did split them, then all that would happen would be cross posts in the ba forum and the sac, cause there might be a possibility that something important might be in one forum and not the other.
I think its good enough as it is, no need to make members have to go through more forums then we already do

I agree with scott. It would be nice, but most of us consider ourselves part of the BAIC and then you also have all the other NorCal folks who need to figure out which forum to post in if we split it up... I think the title of the forum just needs to address the larger area this forum covers.

I voted No.
doing so would be bad in the long run. i know of about 30plus guys that frequent the BAIC events including myself. It would be cool at first but then we'd become seperated in time which could possibly lead to less turn-outs at meets like Mt. Hamilton and other drives and AutoX's.
If it ain't broke then don't try and fix it.
eric

EDIT: however, the Regional forum may take care of that problem. Could you maybe give it a shot and get rid of the
Forum(s) if it doesn't work out well?

no dont split sac/bay area, when I posted the other thread it was to have a name of a forum that goes for both of us...but DO NOT split the sac/bay area forums, it will make both forums slower...keep us together...

Once again NO.
because it doesn't really matter. when i lived KY, NC and other spots with a bunch of guys from the area like tracy, stockton, sacto and even pollock pines we just told people we were from the "bay-area" they knew right away.
It's obvious that people never did well in geography because when you said you were from Sacramento they'd say isn't that near Las Angeeles
No you non-educated ***** it's near the BAY AREA.... you know SF!?

I say NO,
because, I know I would be posting in both places, as I am sure many others would as well. Splitting the forums, would most likely end up causing ppl to double post in both forums, or all 3 if there was a Nor Cal forum too. Besides that would also cause more work for those that are trying to get events together, because even if they didnt double post...they would have to atleast post a link to the thread in each place.
