I am getting married in october this year in san ramon and was wondering if anyone had a Dj they have used or can recomend one. I am looking for a good DJ with a variety of music

I recommend Mark Hardin of "A Big Ticket Sound Experience". He might be booked on such short notice, but if you can get him, he's well worth it. Fellow i-clubber Egan used Mark when he got married, which is when I first saw Mark in action. I got his card and my wife and I hired him for our wedding the following year.

What you get with Mark is a DJ and a coordinator. You meet with him in advance at his office or his home office to set up your song playlist, wants, hates, etc. We gave him an itinerary for the wedding and when he got there he set up everything, did all of the announcing and directed the guests what to do when, kept us on time, etc. On top of all that, he's a really cool guy, easy going and easy to work with. He knows his job is to make your wedding exactly what you want, and he does everything to make sure you get that.

I got DJ AVT (AKA DJ Whitey) booked for my wedding!

If I didn't get AVT, I'd feel like I was betraying myself for some reason. Once you go AVT, you don't go back.

 

What day in October are you getting married? My wedding is set for the 27th. I used to bounce at a club in Mountain View, so I'm using a DJ from there to do my wedding.

 

My wedding is the week before on the 20th of october. Who would have thought finding a dj would be this much work.
